The Slang is an indie-rock trio from Columbus, Ohio, who are set to release their self-titled, debut EP at the end of September, 2014. In anticipation of the album’s release the band has offered up “Feels Like Work” as a single. The trio has been playing together for a while now and their live resume includes performances at CMJ, NXNE, MPMF festivals, and their music has been featured in segments on HBO, and in Troma Films. They were able to use the momentum gained from those shows to propel themselves into The Cutting Room in NY to record their EP. With John Bobo on vocals, guitars, piano, John Newsome on bass, and Michael Dillon on drums, the band is set to head out on tour this fall to support the album.
